Government of the Punjab, Services and General Administration Department (Regulations / O&M Wing) issued a notification to constitute the following Ministerial Committee to discuss the provisions of Contract Appointment Policy, 2004:
i. Minister for Law & PA Convener
ii. Minister for Health
iii. Additional Chief Secretary, S&GAD
iv. Secretary Regulations, S&GAD Secretary
v. Secretary Services, S&GAD
vi. Any other member to be coopted
The Ministerial Committee will deliberate whether the Contract Appointment Policy, 2004 needs to be retained or repealed. The said Committee will submit its recommendations for consideration by the Provincial Cabinet.
