FLOOD WARNING ISSUED BY PDMA

Provincial Disaster Management Authority issued flood warning in River Chenab at Marala, Khanki and Qadirabad attaining the high flood level ranging between 2,00,000 to 3,00,000 cusec. 

According to latest Hydro-Metrological conditions, River Chenab at;

• MARALA is likely to attain High Flood Level, ranging between 200,000 to 300,000 Cusecs from 1400 PST of 12th July 2021 to 1000 PST of 13th July 2021
• River Chenab at KHANKI is likely to attain High Flood Level ranging between 200,000 to 300,000 Cusecs from 0000 PST to 1800 PST of 13th July 2021
• River Chenab at QADIRABAD is also likely to attain High Flood Level ranging between 200,000 to 300,000 Cusecs from 0600 PST to 2400 PST of 13th July 2021. 
• Nullahs of River Chenab are also likely to attain High Flood Level flows from 1800 PST of 12th July 2021. 

All the concerned authorities are requested to keep themselves abreast of latest flood forecast/ updates and take necessary precautionary measures during the forecast period to avoid any loss of life / damage to Public as well as private property under intimation to PDMA, Punjab.
