Government of the Punjab, Housing Urban Development & Public Health Engineering Department issued an order regarding regularization of services of contract employees of PHE department.
- The Chief Minister, Punjab, in pursuance of order of Hon'ble Lahore High Court, Lahore dated 08.03.2019, passed in Writ Petition No 33067/2017 titled "Mrs. Rizwana Yasmeen & Others vs. Province of Punjab etc. and order of Hon'ble Lahore High Court, Mutan Bench Multan dated 26.06.2019. passed in Writ Petition No.1400/2018 titled "Asad Abbas Raza & Other vs. Govt of the Punjab etc while exercising powers conferred upon him under Rule 23 of Punjab Civil Servants (Appointment & Conditions of Service), Rules 1974 has been pleased to regularize the services of following employees (petitioners) of Public Health Engineer Department, who were appointed through Provincial/District Recruitment Committee, on contract basis, under the provisions of Contract Appointment Policy, 2004 with immediate effect in relaxation of relevant Rules/Policies. This order will be subject to any decision in ICA No.23260/2013, pending in Hon'ble ore Han Court Lahore.
- The services of following contract employees, may be regularized, where are otherwise eligible, after fulfilling all the codal procedural formalities:-
