Government of the Punjab, School Education Department (Monitoring Wing) issued a letter regarding cleanliness and implementation of dengue SOPs before opening of schools.
- As per notification by Government of Punjab, schools are closed due to summer vacations and will be re-opened on 16.08.19. In this regard, please ensure the following necessary measures as prescribed in dengue SOPs before opening the schools.
- Cleanliness (premises, classrooms, toilets, water tanks, roof tops etc.)
- Removal of stagnant water
- Grass Cutting from lawns and grounds
- Removal of Junks
- Plugging of water leakages
- Display of Anti-Dengue awareness charts/banner
- Maintenance of vector free environment
