CLARIFICATION REGARDING APPOINTMENT UNDER RULES 17-A

Government of the Punjab, Services & General Administration Department a Notification about Clarification Regarding Appoint Under Rule 17-A on the Basis of Invalidation Certificate of Category "C".

• The Regulations Wing, S&GAD has examined the matter and it is observed that: 

1. The civil servants retired on medical grounds in category “A” or “B” only are entitled to get the benefit of job under Rule 17-A of the Punjab Civil Servants (Appointment & Conditions) Service Rules, 1974, in favour of their wives / children, provided they are otherwise eligible for the posts. 
2. The civil servants declared invalidated in category “C” are not entitled to get the benefit of job in favour of their children / wives under Rule 17-A of the rules ibid.
