Government of the Punjab, Services & General Administration Department, Deputy Secretary (Services) issued a notification regarding lifting of ban on transfer / posting.
- I am directed to state that Competent Authority i.e. Chief Minister, Punjab is pleased to lift the ban on transfer / posting to the extent of followings:
- Transfer / Posting of officers / officials against Secretariat Positions (all administrative departments) / Attached Departments / Autonomous Body / Semi-Autonomous Body.
- Transfer / Posting of Police Officers / Officials in Inspectorate of Police.
- However, ban imposed by Chief Minister, Punjab shall intact on transfers / postings against field assignments.
