Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Defence (Defence Division) issued a Notification regarding Upgradation of the Post of Junior Scientific Officer from BPS-16 to BPS-17.
Detail of Notification:
In pursuance of Federal Services Tribunal Order dated 26-10-2010 (amended
on 25-03-2011) in Appeal No. 1050 (R)/CS 2010, and with reference order of Supreme Court passed in
Civil Petition No.325 to 397 and 429 of 2010, dated 15th March, 2010, Secretary Defence, in his
capacity as administrative authority is pleased to approve the up-gradation of the post of Junior
Scientific Officer from (BPS-16) to (BPS-17) w.e.f. 18-11-1989 working in 503 Army Aviation Base,
Workshops, EME Rawalpindi under Ministry of Defence. The financial implication on this account may
be met within the budget allocation of FY 2018-19.
